In 1994, Jiangyin Hongsheng Special Steel Co., Ltd. was established in Jiangyin. During the last decade, the company has been devoted to developing elaborate products with high performance and high added-value and the promotion of Hongsheng brand in manner of high quality and considerate service. At present, the company is engaged in the business of steel-making, forging, international trade and overseas investment with annual throughput of 180,000 tons of steel ingot and 80,000 tons of steel forgings. It is now famous for the special steel manufacturing in the nation.
The company occupies an area of 200,000 square meters among which construction area is 50,000 square meters. Fixed assets of the company are 51.46 million US dollars. It is situated in the Jiangyin Chengjiang Industrial Garden in high and new technology and new material developing belt at the Yangtze delta. It is at the west of Xinchang railway, north of Huning Expressway, South of Jiangyin harbor which is nation - class one, hence its convenient traffic conditions. Over 800 employees are registered in the company, among which over 120 persons, i.e. 15% of the total employees are intermediate or senior professionals.
Major equipments include: Vacuum refining furnace, electrical arc furnace, ladle refining furnace, vacuum degassing furnace, electric slag remelting furnace, vacuum cast equipment, air hammer forging machine and quick press forging machine.
Major products are: the steel ingot and forging round steel series including nitrided steel for injection moulding machine, gear steel for wind energy, steel for power station, steel for high-pressure boiling, die steel, super low carbon stainless steel. 40 kinds of products has been used to replace imported material and 30 kinds have been exported to European and American countries and areas such as USA, Germany, Japan, Korea, Australia,UK,Italy,Belgium,South Africa, etc. According to users requirement for selecting materials, the products can be supplied as per foreign and domestic specification of GB, YB, JB, American AISI, ASTM, ASME, Japanese JIS, German DIN, European EN, International ISO.
