April 11, Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., Ltd rolled out the Asia''s widest and 4000mm size aluminum alloy sheet successfully. It was the widest aluminum alloy sheet which we produced by far and the width also broke the Asian record. It’s known that the processing technology of this size for aluminum alloy plate has been part of the international blockade of the sophisticated technology. To meet the development requirements of China''s aviation and aerospace industries, April 11, Southwest Aluminum (Group) Co., Ltd spent equipping with the Asia’s biggest rolling mill. 4000 mm wide aluminum plate successfully producing, filled the blank , provided the equipment and materials basis for China''s large aircraft, meet the growing demand of the width for aluminum alloy sheets. Currently, many counties in the world regard it as important symbol of a country aluminum processing development status and the country''s advanced science and technology level what they can produce pre-stretched aluminum alloy thick plate, particular thick plate and over –wide size plate.
