BMW will Make Car Engine in China in 2012

In order to enlarge the investment in the Chinese market, BMW Group is going to make car engine in China in 2012.  Ian Roberston, who is in charge of sales and marketing, said that the engine would be produced in the new factory in China which is going to launch production in 2012.  The new factory, started to be built in June 2010, is invested around 560 million Euro and is expected to launch production in 2012.
