Report of CFF'07-Conference
The 8th ChinaForge Fair 2006 (CFF''06) has been held successfully in five days during Nov.18-22, 2006. With enriched contents, the event is divided into four sections:
1. Forging Business development Reports. This year''''''''s keynote speakers were Vidyashankar Krishnan, from AIFI, India; Tadashi Onishi, from JFA, Japan and Zhangjin and Xia Hanguan from CCMI, China. These four speakers covered very different aspects of the forging industry in India, Japan and China.
2. Presentations on forging technologies and products. The formation of presentation was on forging technologies, Hot forging press, Free die forging press, Furnace, Hammer, Die repair, Forging line, etc.
3. Plant tour. Following the presentation, the attendees were organized to visit 3 forging companies in Tianjin to make known the development of forging companies in North China.
4. The CFF''''''''07-exhibition visiting. The CFF’07-exhibition draw exhibitors and visitors in the field of forging machinery, die, forgings, industrial furnace, computer simulation, etc from many nations worldwide.
The conference has attracted the forging manufacturers'''''''' attention from worldwide. There are 526 attendees of 372 companies from 16 countries and regions attend the conference. The quality of the conference, the level of general satisfaction expressed by everybody, speakers and attendees alike, made it a definitely successful event. This result confirms the international role and the specific value attributed by sector operators to the conference.
During the business reports, Mr. Vidyashankar Krishnan, the president of AIFI, introduced the outline of the India forging industry. And it is reported that the industry''''''''s exports recorded a growth of almost 23% in 2006-07 and have reached a level of US$ 360 million, with projected exports of Forging industry by 2015 US$ 3.75 billion in India. Mr.Tadashi Onishi, President of Japan Forging Association gave us the Overview of the Japanese Forging Industry.
Mr. Zhangjin, the secretary of CCMI told described the latest development of China Forging Industry. Mr. Xia Hanguan, the vice president of CCMI expatiate the vicious repetition in China, and discussed the way to invoice the vicious repetition.
During the new technologies and products presentations:
Mr. Ulrich Kienle from Müller Weingarten AG, told us in the field of large forging parts the counterblow hammer still represents today an extremely attractive alternative to a forging press. Mr. Joachim Roske from Schuler Presses GmbH & Co. KG described the advantages of lines with servo drive technology for optimization of the tool and transfer-related sequences in forming operations
Considering the the constantly growing pressure of globalisation , Mr. Danny Cleuren & Ferdinand Kersten expounded how to produce at lower costs and improve a whole process.
Mr. Christian Bürgin from Hatebur Metalforming Equipment Ltd introduced their latest developments HM 35 and HM 75XL are setting new dimensions in regards of output, process flexibility and production cost.
KURIMOTO, Ltd. Introduced their latest model of Automatic Forging Press with TES type AC servo transfer – C2F Series.
Qingdao Yiyou Forging industry emphasized on the electromotion screw press-J58 to introduce how to economize the resources.
Mr. Douglas Brown & Tang Yongjun from Inductotherm Group introduced us the advanced technologies applied in power supply and control system.
Mr. Nikolay Biba from QuantorForm introduced us the new development in forging simulation for industry.
Mr. Zhang Changlong from Haian Baixie expatiated The development direction of forging hammers with larger striking energy with the vivid introduction of Baixie Hammers;
Mr. Han Dongsheng from Fidia described the application and problems of high speed machining technologies existing in the close die forging industry.
Mr. Chen Jimin from Corewire Ltd expatiated the die repairing technology of Forgeweld, and exhibit how to make profile by using the technology on hot forge dies.
Energy sources & pollution are always big problems in China, Mr. Wang Xinyu from Beijing Forging Ltd is seeking for the new method on presses and furnaces;
Mr. Xie tan from Beijing Research Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Technology introduced us the cost control and quality improvement on forging products.
Mr. Herbert Rueger from Lasco Umformtechink expatiated the practical contributions and possible solutions to achieve an increased productivity of forging lines.
Mr. Wang Weidong from Anyang Forging-Press Machinery Industry Co., Ltd introduced the forging hammer auto lines and forging hydraulic press.
Mr. Liu Renpei from Nanjing River Dragon Welding Technology Company introduced us the surfacing technology for manufacturing and repairing Hot Dies.
Mr. Wu Boxi from Tianjin Auto Forging Co.,Ltd introduce us the new method to resolve the problem of flow management for forging companies.
