The METALFORM CHINA 2007-Conference, which had fallen of the curtain on November 22nd, 2007 in Beijing Yong an Hotel, had achieved a great success.CMF''07-Conference is organized by Confederation of Chinese MetalForming Industry to arrange kinds of attractive contents and fit the full and busy programs schedule. With 153 participants from 21 provinces in China and 8 countries foreigners available, it is highly appraised. The economical production of medium-sized and big metal sheets, in low number of pieces, e.g. as usual by niche vehicles, is a big challenge for the industry.
Schuler offers a solution for their customers with the sheet metal forming by an active fluid medium. With this process the parts will be formed by means of a fluid medium which is under pressure.
The tool cost could be reduced considerably because only one shaping contour must be manufactured and components particularly with spherical geometries could be manufactured with a reduced number of forming steps. The result is a significant piece costs reduction for small and middle productions. Therefore this procedure is an economical alternative for conventional drawing processes. | |

1. Congratulations to the establishment of CCMI- China Metal Fabricating Group.
From CMF''''''''06-Preparatory Conference to CMF''''''''07-Establishment Conference, CCMI-CMFG was finally born in China, which is the very first unique group all over the China. In the conference, CCMI-CMFG had published the work regulations, management rules and the name list of executive companies. In the end, Mr. Qi, the vice general secretary of CCMI, was given a lecture about the analysis of present industry situation and the prospect for the future.
2. General Report & Industry Forum.
We invited more than ten experts from Industry Confederation, government, international representatives and world leading companies, took the emphasis on the present situation, future market, the trend of technology, hot topic controversy, sharing thoughts and spirit banquet. It was given the attendees many important references and a salutary value.
