TRUMPF expands managing board
Ditzingen, July 19, 2007 – The Supervisory Board of the TRUMPF Group appointed two additional managing directors to TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG, effective July 1, 2007. Gerhard Rübling (53), managing director of personnel and services in the Machine Tool business division, was promoted to labor director and, in his new function, is responsible for the Services division group-wide. Friedrich Kilian (51), currently managing director of development in the Machine Tool business division, has assumed responsibility, in addition to his current duties, for Central Purchasing of the TRUMPF Group, the German company announced. The now six-member managing board is chaired by Nicola Leibinger-Kammüller. Peter Leibinger, Vice President, is responsible for the Laser Technology and Electronics business division. He is in charge of development and new business divisions group-wide. Mathias Kammüller is the spokesman for the Machine Tool business division and oversees production and quality group-wide. Harald Völker heads up the Medical Technology business division as well as oversees group-wide finances and IT. Lastly, the company announced that Martin Benzinger (64), managing director of TRUMPF Laser- und Systemtechnik GmbH and special representative of the managing board for China, retired on June 30, 2007.
