More than one hundred guests from all over Poland accepted the invitation to the official inauguration of the some 600-square-meter complex at the company''s headquarters in Raszyn on Warsaw''s doorstep. Customer proximity was also impressively demonstrated by Bystronic CEO Ferdi Töngi who, to the obvious delight of the attendant customers, held his opening speech in Polish. With a broad smile he concluded his speech by saying - this time in English, however: It is without doubt much easier to manage a company than to learn Polish for an event such as this.
The program also included a lecture by Krzysztof Opolski, the distinguished economist from the University of Warsaw, on the subject of innovative company management and the importance of investment in the latest technologies. Fully consistent with this subject was the subsequent official launch of the latest Bystronic innovation, namely the By Vention 3015, on the Polish market. For Piotr Kossakowski, Managing Director of Bystronic Polska, the opening of the demonstration center was the crowning of an extremely successful year: From now on we are one hundred and ten percent prepared across the whole spectrum - from the various service offerings, the supply of spare parts, and right through to sales. |
