Double Adjusting Plate Models
• Ease and simplicity of loading and trouble-free
performance are bywords with Durant Coil Cradles.
• Cradle provides a constant slack loop of material on
motorized models for feeding punch presses, roll
forming, shears, slitters, etc.
Can be used equally well in automatic or manual feed
operations.
Adjustments from minimum to maximum width can be made in
less than one minute.
• All models have two adjustable side plates which are
self-centering.
Lifetime factory sealed bearings are supplied on all
rolls. Heat treated and polished rolls are available at
extra cost.
• On 1200 and 2000 Series a time delay switch is available
for regulating the size of loop at an extra cost. On all
other models this equipment is standard at no extra cost.
• On 1200 and 2000 Series there is an additional charge for 3
phase current. Standard rate of speed is up to 90 FPM. On
1200, 2000 and 3000 Series speeds may be changed to 125
FPM without extra charge. Standard speed on other
units is 70 FPM.

Pinch Roll Attachments
• Pinch rolls are recommended for all egg shaped rolls, thin
or thick stocks, oily stocks, spring tempered material,
lamination stock, and stocks with slitting camber.
Used on metals between .010 and .160 thick.
Used in conjunction with coil cradle to make positive feed
of materials.
Helps to accelerate the coils being used in the coil
cradle and acts as a braking action of the coil of stock.
Prevents coasting of coil when actuator shuts motor off.
All rolls are hardened and polished, and mounted in sealed
ball bearings.
• Easy loading and economy of time in reloading.
Minimizes the marking of coil stock.
