This series of presses are one of main equipment for scrap steel treatment. There is a lot of metal scrap in society every year. The scrap material mainly comes from plate edge, wire rod, section, pipe which come down from steel rolling and also come from waste material reclaimed from society. Thescrap material can be pressed to a certain size of package and then can be sent back to furnace to smelt. It can save a large amount of energy source and mining resource, so it brings quite important economy benefit. The steel-iron treatment enterprises inside and outside of the country all use this type of equipment to treat the scrap steel and iron.

     YBF1500 and YB630YBF hydraulic scrap steel packing presses are horizontal type, applying pressure in three direction. It is made up of tilting bucket, turn-over cover, prepress cylinder, main cylinder, gate, compress chamber, pull-rod, oil pump station etc.

     The tilting bucket is a container of dustpan form and is fitted above prepress cylinder. Filling up with scrap steel, it will take two plunger cylinders as drivers and turn over around its rotary shaft to dump the scrap steel into compress chamber, then the bucket will come back to the original position due to its dead weight. The turn-over cover is a top cover of compress chamber and is located opposite of tilting bucket. Under swing thrust action of the two plunger cylinder after loading material, the cover will turn around the rotary shaft to the horizontal position for the first pressing. Prepress cylinder is also a plunger cylinder and push the pressure head to realize the second pressing. The main cylinder is also a plunger cylinder, the different point is that the main plunger is a body of knockout cylinder and this is a structure of cylinder covering cylinder. After realizing the third pressure, the main cylinder will push the package out of the discharge port, that is to push out of the gate. The gate is located opposite of the main cylinder.

     Left and right walls, front beam, prepressure head, bottom beam, pull-rod enclose a rigid compress chamber. Inside wall of the compress chamber has a high manganese steel wear-resistant lining board.

     During the last phase of hold down, three parts of turn-over cover, main cylinder pressure head and prepress cylinder pressure head apply pressure in three direction.. The pull-rods are used to connect and fix between main cylinder and lift and right side walls, between prepressed cylinder and front beam and between turn-over cover and base to support whole load of hold down operation.

     YBF1250scrap steel packing press is a new designed product. Comparing with 15MN and 6.3MN packing presses, it adds one more direction pressure, namely, the vertical direction of package ads one compression. Other functions are same, but structure of each part has improved to some extent. The structure of whole press is relative novelty and approaches the level of same type products at the present age in the country. The whole press is put on the ground and has two operation methods of manual operation and automatic operation with pc. It has automatic pressure indicator. At the same time, combined beam of the original structure has already been changed to integral beam, the structure is more compact. The control part adopts constant power pressure compensating power supply. It makes consumption of packing power more reasonable. It also adopts new technique and new element of two-way plug type valve and plug type proportional governor valve, and makes the level of the whole press improved.
